Thoughts

Praise, most high for Jayne, who, in Brian's last weeks did all she could to care for him and make sure that he had everything he needed to be as comfortable as possible. Yes the last week was awful, but it was a culmination of many awful times along the way, with both Jayne and Peter dealing with the trauma of a life ending. It was very brave and very kind to have Brian in your care, over the most difficult weeks of his life. Im sure that we are all grateful that you saw the road ahead was tough but you walked it with Brian anyway. XX

Pierre and I knew very little about Brian until the last few weeks of his life, despite Brian being his Brother in Law. I have to say that I always knew him to be a mans’ man and our paths never crossed much for conversation; conversations with the men centred around football, scaffolding, Golf and the pub and this was not conversation for the women. Getting to know Brian was really easy and I’m so glad that I had an opportunity to do that. Brian was a lad and even up to his leaving us was laughing and joking. Jaxon got to spend some time with his Uncle Brian and his memory will stay alive in the photos that Jayne took that day. The last week was awful, I know, but we will remember Brian for his fun side and his generosity. Sleep with the Angels Brian, you have only slipped into another room of your Fathers house and in that room, I pray that you know at last, your Mother’s love 💕
